What Zappo Has Been Up To
December I was performing countless Christmas shows - these shows are lots of fun with a Christmas theme through them. I visited Kindergartens, corporate offices, early childhood centres and the shows were well received!
On the 20th December I started work on the Interislander "Aratre", entertaining the children with magic shows and balloon sculpturing.
I performed at the Tauherenikau Races on the 2nd of January and worked alongside Dazzle Facepainting.
On the 5th January I started touring with the Summer Reading Programme and visited 27 libraries in a 2 week period as an entertainer/storyteller. This year's theme was Summer camping reading and I put a themed show together for this. It was very "Hi-De-Hi"! It's great visiting all the libraries again and catching up with the librarians.
Towards the end of January I performed at Splash Planet in Hastings; once-again it was nice to go back there again.
The last week of the school holidays I performed for the YMCA Holiday Programme in Wellington and also performed at countless birthday parties.
